Julia has shared her unique blend of Mindfulness and Resilience Trainings with over 3,500 participants.

A certified nurse practitioner and a passionate advocate for health and wellness, Julia is on a mission to empower others to use mindfulness and resilience skills in their daily lives.

Our Mission

Our mission is for healthcare professionals, corporate teams and community members to learn mindfulness and resilience skills for these uncertain times and beyond to help:

  • Decrease stress and anxiety
  • Build resilience
  • Develop well-being
  • Increase joy and compassion
  • Prevent burnout
  • Apply mindfulness techniques to daily life

The company began with the vision of sharing mindfulness skills that helped us live better and kinder lives. The first 30 minute presentation over 8 years ago led to the development of a business dedicated full-time to improving peoples lives so they could have choices in how they are living day to day. As our world is rapidly changing, so is our business plan to share mindfulness and resilience that is accessible to everyone regardless of location or situation. We are proud to be available for everyone. We believe in meeting people wherever they are on their life journey by offering a variety of trainings from one hour to eight weeks and beyond. We hope you will join us too.

Why Julia Teaches Mindfulness and Resilience:

Experiencing burnout and practicing mindfulness is very personal to me. While working as a palliative care nurse practitioner in an inner-city hospital and caring for patients while dying, I became burnt out. The symptoms of burnout began gradually but eventually slipped into all aspects of my life personally and professionally. I felt exhausted both emotionally and physically, withdrew socially, experienced insomnia and stopped connecting with patients emotionally.

In the early 2000’s, no one spoke of “burnout” or how to cope with it. I left the nursing profession but returned to the same position five years later with a mindfulness practice in place. I use these skills everyday as I teach mindfulness to healthcare professionals, corporate teams, veterans with PTSD and community members.
