Mindfulness and Resilience Course for Everyone

Spring Course coming soon..

Mindfulness practices build resilience that helps support us in both our work and personal lives during these uncertain times and beyond.

This 4-week course focuses on mindfulness and compassion techniques that can be used by everyone to decrease anxiety and stress and increase joy and compassion.

Each week during the one-hour live zoom session, we will discuss a mindfulness topic, practice a formal meditation and learn specific mindfulness and resilience techniques. The skills you gain can be used immediately in your daily life.

Weekly topics include:

  • Mindfulness for this unprecedented time

  • Compassion in the mist of uncertainty for ourselves and others

  • Choosing how to respond instead of react to situations in our lives

  • How to live mindfully and continue to build resilience

All are welcome! No prior experience is required. No fee for the course - please donate to your favorite charity with the spirit of mindful community.


Instructor


Julia Sarazine DNP, APRN, FNP-BC

Julia is a doctoral prepared nurse practitioner and certified mindfulness teacher from the Center for Mindfulness at Brown University. She has shared mindfulness with over 3,500 participants including healthcare professionals, veterans with PTSD, and the community. She has presented mindfulness research, education and trainings at several healthcare conferences.

As a palliative care nurse practitioner who experienced burnout, Julia understands the value of mindfulness every day especially during times of stress and anxiety. She is passionate about creating a safe and nurturing environment to develop or deepen everyone’s mindfulness and compassion practice.
